we are delighted to welcome you to the Global BC Summit 2026, taking place this December in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany. This event marks an important milestone in the evolution of back-contact photovoltaics. Since our last gathering, back-contact PV modules have steadily gained market share across all relevant scenarios, a clear sign of how far this technology has come. Building on that momentum, we're also seeing continued progress as TOPCon Back Contact (TBC) technology already moved towards bifacial applications.
This summit offers a unique opportunity to dive into these developments together, exchange perspectives, and discuss what lies ahead for back-contact solar technology. We believe these innovations will play a key role in shaping the future of carbon neutral energy supply, and we're excited to bring the community together to explore them in depth.

This year, BCworkshop and bifiPV workshop will expand their horizons: The Global BC Summit will be co-organized with AIKO, following the success of previous summits in Zhuhai (2024) and Yiwu (2025).
Therefore, this year’s BC Summit will be extended to 3 days to cover the whole range from R&D to application. It will serve as a platform to explore the entire value chain, from materials and cells to modules and applications, highlighting the transformative potential of bifacial BC technology in the renewable energy sector.
We anticipate attracting 250–300 participants, including top researchers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, all passionate about advancing the future of bifacial BC technology. Attendees will engage in insightful discussions, presentations, and networking sessions that will foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing. Two high-level panel discussions and a networking dinner will round the program.
As bifacial BC technology is expected to be the big thing, the Global BC Summit 2026 is an opportunity to be at the forefront of this exciting evolution.

Venue
The Global BC Summit 2026 will be held at AXICA in central Berlin. Located beside the Brandenburg Gate and designed by architect Frank O. Gehry, the venue offers a distinctive setting with modern conference facilities and excellent public transport connections. This central location also provides easy access to hotels, restaurants, and many of Berlin's cultural landmarks.
